PERCENT VOLUME CHANGE
Percent Volume Change is a common stock trading indicator which
can be used to give an indication of increased or decreased interest in a stock.
We use the last 13 weeks, (1 quarter) as a baseline and look at today's volume compared
to the average of the last 13 weeks volume. As an example, if you should see a 100,
that means that the volume today was double the average. Accompanied by an increase
or decrease in price this can be an indication of a shift in sentiment towards the
stock represented by the most accurate sentiment indicator available; buying or selling.
